Aldeara LLC is a New Hampshire limited liability company. We build software products for families and the caregivers who work with them. Our current products are:
These Terms of Service apply to all Aldeara products and services. When we say "Aldeara," "we," "us," or "our," we mean Aldeara LLC.
By creating an account or using any Aldeara product, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our services. If you are using Aldeara on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms on its behalf.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Please use a strong, unique password and don't share your login with others outside your designated workspace (for example, a second parent or connected caregiver may be added through our invite system — that is different from sharing your password).
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at aldeara@proton.me.
You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension is a violation of these Terms.
Certain features of our products are available under a paid subscription. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you choose. When you start a paid plan, your payment method is charged at the time of purchase. Prices are shown at the time of purchase and may change with notice.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. We'll send you a reminder before any annual renewal.
No refunds. Once a billing period has begun, charges are non-refundable. If you cancel, you retain access to paid features through the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free tier. We will not charge you again.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at aldeara@proton.me and we'll look into it promptly.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app or by emailing aldeara@proton.me. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We don't make cancellation difficult — we believe you should be able to leave as easily as you arrived.
You own the content you create in Aldeara products — entries, notes, photos, documents, profile information. We don't claim ownership of your data.
By using our services, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We don't use your content for advertising, to train AI models, or for any purpose beyond operating and improving the product for you.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. We are not a medical service. Nothing in our products constitutes medical, legal, or professional advice.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Aldeara and its product names, logos, and software are the intellectual property of Aldeara LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our software without our written permission.
These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you beyond the limited right to use the service as described here.
Our products use third-party services to operate, including Supabase (database and authentication) and Stripe (payment processing). These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We choose partners carefully and only share the minimum information necessary for them to perform their function.
Aldeara products are provided "as is." We work hard to keep them reliable and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will be free of errors. We are not responsible for data loss caused by events outside our control.
Our products are tools to help you organize and share information — they are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or childcare advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aldeara LLC's liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Some states do not allow certain limitations on liability. If you are in such a state, some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to defend and hold harmless Aldeara LLC and its members, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of our services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Hampshire, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or by a notice in the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
We'll always keep the previous version accessible so you can see what changed.
