This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services operated by Aldeara LLC, including Daily, Portfolio, and Match, as well as our websites. When we say "Aldeara," "we," "us," or "our," we mean Aldeara LLC, a New Hampshire limited liability company.
We collect information you give us directly, information generated by your use of our products, and technical information from your device.

The fundamental purpose of Aldeara products is connection between trusted people — a family and their caregiver, a caregiver and their clients. Information you enter is shared within the ecosystem you set up: the people you have explicitly invited and connected to your account. No one outside that connection can access your data.
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate our products:
These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to us.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public. We will notify you if we receive such a request, unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
If Aldeara LLC is acquired, merges, or transfers its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before that happens and your data will remain subject to the protections in this policy.
Daily is designed for families and their caregivers. It collects and stores sensitive information about children including names, dates of birth, health information (allergies, medications, feeding, sleep, and development records), and photos.
This information is only accessible to the primary family account and the connected caregiver and/or second parent accounts that the family has explicitly invited. We treat children's health data with the highest level of care and do not use it for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
Daily is not directed at children. If you believe a child has created an account without parental consent, please contact us at aldeara@proton.me immediately.
Portfolio collects professional information including your biography, certifications, work history, references, client information, hours worked, mileage logs, and financial records (for invoicing purposes).
Your public portfolio page (if you create one) is intentionally visible to anyone with the link — that is its purpose. All other information (client records, hours, finances, documents) is private and only visible to you.
Match facilitates connections between families and caregivers. Profile information you make public in Match is visible to other Match users. Private messages between users are not reviewed by Aldeara except where required for safety or legal compliance.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (for example, financial records related to payment transactions).
Backups may take up to 90 days to fully purge after account deletion.
We take security seriously. Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use Supabase's row-level security to ensure that each user can only access data they are authorized to see. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
No system is perfectly secure. We will notify you promptly if we discover a breach that affects your data.
Our account-creation services are intended for adults (18 and older). Daily is designed to help adults care for and track information about children in their care — it is not intended to be used by children themselves.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 as account holders. If we learn we have done so, we will delete that information promptly.

Our web apps use session cookies necessary for authentication and to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We do not use Google Analytics or similar tracking services.
When we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by email or through the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The effective date at the top of this document will always reflect when it was last updated.
We will always keep the previous version accessible so you can see what changed.
